First Impressions on High School DxD
It’s always good to have an opening frame that leaves no room for doubt.
I hope you like boobs because you’re going to find a world of those in DxD. The show makes no effort to conceal what its priorities are: Big breasts, fighting, and big breasts fighting. Sounds a lot like Ikki Tousen or Queen’s Blade in other words, and this isn’t entirely a coincidence as the scriptwriter of the two is also responsible of DxD. As much as a show like this even needs a script, anyway.

Koe de Oshigoto OVA 1 Impressions – Not Safe For Work, Just Like It Should(n’t) Be
I know this is several months late already but here goes nothing. I don’t usually pay close attention to OVA’s and though I had managed to download this, it had been sitting around for quite some time. Until now that is, after I spotted some posts about it on a certain image board. So as I was lacking some dinner entertainment, I decided to give it a go. The results were…interesting. But before we begin, be advised that this OVA is totally not okay to watch with your parents in an effort to demonstrate the superiority of Japanese cartoons, and that it contains graphical and verbal depiction of human reproductive activity which is the worst thing in the world after liberals, socialism, and public healthcare. Naturally this also applies to the post from here on, so if you wish to remain untainted then run while you can!

First Impressions on Freezing – Tits and Gore, Should Not Want
I expected Freezing to be clearly awful but surprisingly it wasn’t as terrible as I thought. That isn’t saying very much of course, but the opening episode at least managed to leave a distinct impression if nothing else. Compared to GOSICK’s lethally boring start I can’t say that’s a bad thing, even if the said impression wasn’t all that positive.
